This Disclaimer consolidates, in one accessible place, the disclaimers already established across the "Place Discovery & Recommendations Terms" and "Companion Matching & Community Terms" modules of the Terms and Conditions, and extends them to topics (medical, legal, financial, and security disclaimers) not yet separately addressed there. Where this document and the Terms and Conditions overlap, the Terms and Conditions are the controlling legal document; this Disclaimer is a plain-language summary and extension, not a replacement.
Onyatrips provides a platform for discovering destinations and planning trips, and for finding travel companions and groups. Except where we expressly state otherwise, all content on the Platform — destination information, business listings, recommendations, User reviews, and companion/group profiles — is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
Onyatrips is a technology platform, not a travel agent, tour operator, insurer, medical provider, legal adviser, financial adviser, or security provider. We do not employ, supervise, or guarantee the businesses, guides, hosts, or other Users you may discover or interact with through the Platform, consistent with the "Nature of Onyatrips" clause of the Terms and Conditions.
Destination guides, place listings, accommodation details, transport information, and activity descriptions are provided for general informational purposes. As set out in the "Place Discovery & Recommendations Terms" module of the Terms and Conditions, this content is generated through a combination of automated/AI-assisted processes and editorial judgment (see Section 10 below), draws in part on external and third-party data, and is not independently verified for accuracy, currency, or completeness in every instance. Prices, availability, opening hours, and specific details can change without notice and may be out of date by the time you rely on them.
Prices and availability shown on the Platform, whether for a bookable item or informational listing, are indicative and subject to change, error, and correction; see Section 15 of the Refund and Cancellation Policy for how we handle a confirmed pricing or availability error.
We do not guarantee the accuracy of any travel schedule, weather forecast, or similar time-sensitive information referenced on or through the Platform. Weather, natural disasters, political developments, civil unrest, and government restrictions can change rapidly and materially affect travel plans; you are responsible for checking current, authoritative sources before and during travel.
Onyatrips is not a substitute for official government, consular, or medical guidance. Any information relating to visa requirements, passport validity, immigration rules, health advisories, required or recommended vaccinations, or travel insurance is provided, if at all, for general awareness only. You are solely responsible for confirming current visa, immigration, and health requirements with the relevant embassy, consulate, or government authority, and for obtaining medical advice from a qualified professional and appropriate travel insurance before you travel.
Where the Platform references adventure, outdoor, or physically demanding activities, participation in these carries inherent risk, including risk of serious injury or death, which cannot be eliminated by any safety information we may provide. You are responsible for assessing your own fitness, skill, and risk tolerance for any such activity, and for following the safety instructions of the relevant activity provider, not Onyatrips.
We do not verify the identity, background, character, or intentions of Users, beyond the limited email-based verification described in the Privacy Policy. Profile information, including stated age, gender, profession, and photographs, is provided by the User themselves and is not independently verified or guaranteed to be accurate. This is addressed in full in the "Companion Matching & Community Terms" module of the Terms and Conditions and in the Travel Companion Safety Policy, which you should read in full before using companion or group features.
Reviews, ratings, and other User-generated content reflect the opinions and individual experiences of the Users who posted them, not the views of Onyatrips, and are not independently fact-checked by us in every instance. A review being published does not mean Onyatrips has verified its accuracy or that the reviewer actually experienced what they describe, beyond whatever integrity checks are described in the Review and Rating Policy. Business listings, including any information supplied by the business itself, similarly reflect what the business has represented to us and, where applicable, what has passed our review process described in the Business Listing Policy — this process is not a guarantee of the business's quality, safety, legality, or accuracy.
The Platform may reference, link to, or (in the future) integrate with third-party providers, including payment processors, booking suppliers, and — if introduced — affiliate partners. We do not currently operate an affiliate program; this section is written to cover the possibility should one be introduced. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, terms, or conduct of any third-party website or service, including any accessed via a link or embedded widget (for example, our Razorpay checkout, once paid booking is enabled — see the Refund and Cancellation Policy — which will operate under Razorpay's own terms). Where a listing or link is sponsored, paid, or otherwise commercially promoted, this will be disclosed consistent with the Business Listing Policy and Review and Rating Policy; no paid-placement or sponsored-listing system was identified as currently implemented.
Place pages with location information include an embedded Google Maps view and a link to open the location in Google Maps. This is provided for general orientation only and should not be relied upon as authoritative for navigation, safety, or legal boundaries. We do not verify or update map data ourselves — accuracy, availability, and correctness of the embedded map are entirely governed by Google. We do not integrate Mapbox or any other maps provider.
As described in the Privacy Policy, current discovery, filtering, and companion/group matching on the Platform run on deterministic, rule-based logic against explicit fields — not machine-learning or generative-AI models. Separately, the Terms and Conditions describe an "AI matching" capability and a "hybrid artificial-intelligence and human-editorial process" for destination-recommendation content — see the Responsible AI Policy for how we address this. Whatever the current or future mix of automated and human-editorial processes behind any given piece of content, such content is a signal or suggestion, not a guarantee of accuracy, safety, suitability, or compatibility, and should not be treated as professional advice.
Where content is presented as editorial (curated destination guides, "Travel Critic"-style write-ups, or similar), it reflects Onyatrips' own judgment or that of the individuals who prepared it and is inherently subjective. Where content is presented as coming from a User or business, it reflects that party's own views or representations. We identify the source of content where reasonably practicable, but do not guarantee that every piece of content is unambiguously labeled in every context today.
Nothing on the Platform constitutes medical, legal, financial, tax, immigration, or security advice, and should not be relied upon as such. Where you need advice in any of these areas in connection with your travel plans, consult an appropriately qualified professional.
We implement the technical and organizational security measures described in the Security Policy. No online platform can guarantee absolute security, and we do not represent that the Platform, its data, or your account is immune from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. See the Security Policy and Privacy Policy for what is, and is not, currently implemented.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Onyatrips disclaims all warranties, express or implied, regarding the Platform and its content, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, and timeliness, consistent with the "Disclaimer of Warranties" clause of the Terms and Conditions' Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer of Warranties module.
Our liability in connection with the Platform is limited as set out in the "Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer of Warranties" module of the Terms and Conditions, including the aggregate liability cap and exclusions described there. This Disclaimer does not expand or reduce that module; it operates alongside it.
We are not responsible for delays or failures in the Platform, or for the accuracy of travel-related information, caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, consistent with the "Force Majeure" clause of the Terms and Conditions.
You are responsible for independently verifying any information you rely on from the Platform before making travel decisions, for exercising judgment in any interaction with another User, and for your own conduct, safety, and compliance with applicable law while using the Platform and while traveling.
